Ruby's 1st Birthday

I think it's been a little emotional for me to see my baby girl turn one year old. She is not a baby anymore, but in the toddling phase. She is close to walking, which we are very excited about considering her confining casts and braces she has worn practically since birth. We saw her doctor in Hartford last month and the x-rays look great and she only has to wear her leg braces during naptime and bedtime.

Here is a picture of her cake and her eating it. She put a lot of it on the floor, which was different than the boys who both stuffed their faces. I guess she's a lady.
