Sam's first concert

Technically Sammy's first concert was The Wiggles Live in Philadelphia a few years back, but this was his first concert with just his Dad. Scott and I had planned to attend a folk festival in Newport, RI, but Owen had been sick all week and I didn't feel I could leave him with a sitter, so Scott took Sam. He had a great time and has been going to sleep listening to the NPR broadcast of the concert on Scott's ipod. Hightlights were Gillian Welch, the Decemberists, Fleet Foxes, and legendary folk artist Pete Seeger.

Owen, Ruby and I had a fun day, too of napping and reading. The boys brought me back a Decemberists t-shirt.
