We recently took a trip to Yellowstone as part of a family reunion on Bethany's side. Yellowstone is magnificent! Not only in size, but in beauty and wonder. Ruby was very excited to see the elk and buffalo. She called them "doggies" and kept us busy running after her as she ran straight for them without fear or shyness. We visited West Yellowstone and saw Old Faithful, the Fountain Paint Pots and Cascade Falls. Scott took the boys camping one night in Yellowstone to experience it even more. He drove up north to see the Mammoth Hot Springs, Canyons, and Tower Falls. The boys made up some Yellowstone knock knock jokes with interrupting geysers. We bundled up and were prepared for snow, but the weather was mostly good. There was snow up north, but the roads were clear and the boys never had to wear their snow suits or boots.
