Night out in NYC

Bethany's parents were in town for a few days on their way home from Ukraine to Washington. We had a wonderful time with them and took it easy, except for one night in NYC. Bethany's cousin Sherm and his wife Erica were in the city for business and we all met up to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe and see Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. We got sitters for the kids and enjoyed a night out. The show was amazing! I am astounded at what they can do with props on a stage and the music is so powerful you can feel it. We enjoyed the food at Hard Rock and I think my parents were happy to eat American burgers and milkshakes. I had the steak fajitas, which were wonderful. They were also great about getting us our food and check quickly so we could rush off to the show.

Thanks for coming to New York, Sherm and Erica, and I hope we can do it again sometime. We look forward to your next visit, Mom and Dad. We had a lot of fun!
