Karilee is married!

I recently took a trip to Utah for my little sister's wedding. She is now Karilee Delpha Park Ovalle. She and her husband Didier were married for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. She looked so beautiful and I am very happy for her! I'm sorry I didn't get many good pictures. It was a very cold, rainy and snowy day. Of course the rest of the days of my visit were beautiful and sunshiney. All of my siblings came (though the picture is just of my sisters and sister-in-law Danika). We missed having Kristina with us and my own husband stayed home with the kids. Thank you for your sacrifices so Jeff and I could be there. It was wonderful to be together as a family and to see cousins, aunts and uncles and meet the Ovalle family. They are wonderful people.

Sunday morning my family and I attended the live broadcast of "Music and the Spoken Word" from the Tabernacle in Temple square. It was so amazing to hear The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and hard not to clap after such moving music, but all was quiet for the broadcast. We were present for the 4,200th recording.

I stayed a couple of days and was able to spend a day with my sister Angie, shopping and eating. We had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory, which was fabulous. We also met up with our brother Wally for dinner at the Red Iguana in SLC which was featured on the TV show "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives". The food was amazing and I wish they would open one here in CT.

  1. Yea! So glad to hear it. I can't wait to get the details. I love her hair, and her dress, but I wish you had a photo of you showing your shoes...did you wear the yellow ones to match your flower?
