AZ comes to CT

My big brother Kevin brought his family all the way from Arizona for a visit. We had such a great time with them! We did some fun local things; the Seaport museum, canoeing, the submarine museum and Rocky Neck beach. They spent a day in Boston and later in the week a day in NYC, which we joined them for. We took the Staten Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty, which is something our kids haven't done yet. We rode the subway around everywhere and Owen especially enjoyed that. He sat still with wide eyes while riding the train. Sam on the other hand fell asleep in Ruby's stroller. We also stopped at Grand Central Station, FAO Schwartz and Central Park. It was an adventure with four adults and six kids.

The kids also had a lot of fun at home playing games, Lego's, digging for worms and making Smores. The boys can't wait for us to visit Arizona. Sam wants to go in the summer and see if it really gets to 115 degrees...I think we'll wait for Winter!

Thanks again for coming Kevin and Danika!

  1. It was a great week! Don't forget about Sam falling asleep in Brandon's lap on the subway too! And tell Sam yes, it does really get to 115 degrees here (it was 114 last week)...
