New Year, New Home

We are finally here in our new house and we finally have internet! We moved in a week before Christmas. We had a lot of snow over Christmas and I was never so happy for snow. It got the kids out of the house to play and Scott and I were able to put our new house in order. We still have boxes and clutter, but we are feeling at home. We even hung pictures and I am enjoying decorating.

Our back yard has a little hill that was perfect for the kids to go sledding. They had lots of fun with the sleds Santa brought. Even little Violet had a turn sledding with Mom.

Christmas was lots of fun, but went by very quickly. We bought a lovely live tree on Christmas Eve and kept it up until the new year. This year with each gift we gave each other we included a coupon for something nice we would do for that person. Most of these were doing chores for each other (or not complaining about chores, which is a wonderful gift to Mom and Dad). I made Owen a batch of cookies all to himself and that was a big hit, I may have to repeat this for birthdays.

We are excited for this new year in our new home.
