Sam was recently in a musical play of
The Jungle Book. He had to audition for his part including singing. He played the role of the old monkey and had lots of fun singing the monkey song. The play was especially great because all the kids were on stage singing for the majority of the time. They did choreographed dancing and a few parts had speaking lines and singing solos. Owen, Ruby and Violet loved watching the play. Sam got to keep his costume and now Violet calls him, "Jungle Sam".

King Louie is on the rock and Sam is the monkey standing next to him. He is actually fanning him with a palm tree branch, but you can't see that very well. He is delivering his big line in the play and he did a great job being loud and enunciating.

Here are the monkeys taking a bow. Sam is the second on on the left and the only one not too blurry!

Sam as the old monkey. His make up is great!
